ROPE WINDING AND RECOVERY TRUCK “Takes the hard work out of wire rope replacement” “No longer any need to manually change your rope, minimising your downtime” One of the many things that makes us stand out from the rest is our rope winding and recovery truck. As far as we are aware it is the only one of its kind in the north island. With the ability to carry up to 4 tonne of wire rope, it allows you to wind new rope on to your hauler where and when you require it, and take care of your used rope, saving you time and money. We can travel to any hauler site in New Zealand, with only hours notice if need be. 
Our 370 ton Press gives us the ability to press wire rope from 1mm through to 32mm (1 1/4"). This includes regular strand and swaged ropes. Types of press-on ferrules & talurits include: Steel, copper, alloy & nickel plated. The press provides the convenience of an instant pressed eye, which carries similar strength to the rope in its original new state. Second hand wire rope can also have eyes pressed but it is important to take into consideration the factors of worn rope. Hand spliced eyes are another specialised service that we offer in a variety of different wire rope splicing options. Splicing of fibral rope is also available, in multi-strand & yachting braids. |
